English Fair 2025: Academic Integration from Language Transversality
The past June 21, 2024, the Faculty of Humanities carried out with great success the English Fair, a training activity that brought together students from the programs of Bachelor's degree in English, Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education and Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Personal Training, with the aim of strengthening the use of the English language as a transversal tool in their respective disciplines.
This academic initiative emerged as a proposal for integration between programs, promoting the development of communicative skills in English through active and collaborative pedagogical strategies. The fair established itself as a space where students not only put their language skills into practice but also demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and commitment to the teaching-learning process within their professional fields.
During the day, various activities were carried out, distributed according to the strengths and focuses of each degree program, such as:

- Story Telling – Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education

- Question and Answer Flash Card – Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education
- Sing Along – Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education
- English Puppet Show – Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education
- Games – Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education
The English Fair reaffirms UMECIT's commitment to comprehensive, relevant, and contextualized education, while highlighting the importance of second language proficiency as a fundamental part of the graduate profile of future education professionals.
