Students strengthen their skills with first aid training

As part of their comprehensive education, UMECIT students have actively participated in first aid training led by Héctor Chávez. This initiative responds to the institution's commitment to preparing future professionals with the necessary tools to face risky situations during their internships, scheduled for 2026, and to strengthen the knowledge of those already in training.

During the sessions, key topics were covered, such as immediate emergency care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, bleeding control, fracture management, and protocols for handling workplace incidents. All of this was aimed at strengthening our students' rapid and effective response capacity, thus ensuring their safe and professional performance in any organizational setting.

Taking an interdisciplinary approach, these sessions featured the active participation of students from the Nursing and Radiology programs, promoting a valuable exchange of knowledge and experiences. This collaboration reflects UMECIT's commitment to quality education, focused on collaborative work, social responsibility, and preparation for the real challenges of the world of work.
