Occupational Health and Safety students visit UMECIT's FabLab to enhance applied innovation.

Students of the Occupational Health and Safety program recently made an academic visit to the digital manufacturing laboratory. UMECIT FabLab, a cutting-edge space designed to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and applied research.

During the tour, the students learned firsthand about the laboratory's technological capabilities, which are aimed at transforming ideas into tangible products through digital design, creation, and manufacturing processes. FabLab It not only represents an academic resource, but is consolidated as a collaborative environment where the university community can develop impact projects, such as prototypes of safety equipment, ergonomic signage and technical solutions adapted to the real needs of the work environment.

This experience allowed them to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, fostering the creation of sustainable business plans geared toward market needs.
