Psychology students conduct fieldwork in Villa Guadalupe

With a firm commitment to comprehensive training and social impact, the AA-2024 Sabatino group of the General Psychology program carried out an enriching day of fieldwork in the community of Villa Guadalupe, Cativá district, Colón Province.

The activity was developed within the framework of the courses Research Methodology and Projective Techniques I, under the guidance of Professor Aleyda Wardrope, who accompanied the students throughout the process.

During the day, future professionals will:

  • ✅ Projective tests were administered to children in the community.

  • ✅ They analyzed and interpreted the results, providing feedback to parents with teacher support.

  • ✅ They collected demographic data essential to advancing their research.

These experiences strengthen not only technical and methodological knowledge, but also the development of social sensitivity, empathy, professional ethics, and commitment to transforming vulnerable realities.

From UMECIT, we congratulate the group for their dedication, responsibility, and for proudly representing the institutional values in every space they work.
