Physical Education undergraduate students had a formative experience on an academic camping trip

Students of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Personal Training, who are taking the Camp course, recently participated in an academic tour aimed at strengthening the practical and experiential learning of the content developed in the classroom.

During the day, the students had the opportunity to learn directly in the natural environment, putting into practice knowledge related to the organization and development of camps, teamwork, leadership and responsible contact with nature.

This experience allowed participants to understand the camp from a holistic perspective, linking the theoretical foundations of the subject with practical activities that promote the development of skills specific to their future professional work.

The impact of this initiative is reflected in the acquisition of significant knowledge and experiences, which strengthen the academic training of students and contribute to consolidating their educational process within the university career.

Furthermore, the importance of students in blended and virtual learning modalities participating in these types of academic activities is highlighted, as they represent key spaces to complement their learning, allowing them to practically apply the content of the subject and develop skills related to recreational and educational activities in nature.

With this type of experience, the institution reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive, practical and contextualized education, aimed at strengthening the professional skills of future graduates.

The academic tour was organized and directed by Professor Luis Eliecer Maitin.
