Last Saturday, August 30th, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Personal Training and the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education of the Faculty of Humanities held an environmental fair, as part of the closing of the subjects Environmental Education and The Human Being and his Context.
The day was accompanied by teachers Rosemary Castillero and Hilda Swaby, who guided the academic and outreach activities. During the activity, various activities were presented that included recreational games using recycled materials, promoting awareness about caring for the planet and highlighting how the responsible use of recyclable resources can generate both environmental and community benefits.
Within this framework, students from the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education presented a teaching model, highlighting the importance of involving the community in the educational process from childhood and demonstrating how early childhood education can contribute to socially and environmentally responsible development.
The environmental fair not only provided a space for practical learning, but also an exercise in academic and community integration, aimed at strengthening the commitment to sustainability and the holistic development of human beings in their context.
