Preschool students from the Santiago campus participated in an educational program at the "Offer a Home" Foundation.

In an exercise full of empathy, commitment and educational vocation, the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education from the Santiago campus participated in an enriching pedagogical day held at the Foundation “Offers a Home”, located in San Antonio de Atalaya, Veraguas.

The activity was led by teacher Marleni Raquel Arcia Castro, accompanied by a team of specialists in Preschool Education and Early Stimulation. During the day, the students put the knowledge they had acquired in the classroom into practice in a real-life setting, spending time with 25 children in their early childhood.

The activities developed focused on strengthening different areas of child development, especially through play, body expression, and psychomotor skills. Activities such as integration games, movement exercises, and playful dynamics not only stimulated active learning but also provided the children with a safe, creative, and emotional space for their overall development.

As a symbolic closing, the students offered a toast and shared moments of joy with the children, strengthening the bonds of closeness and affection. They also delivered a charity basket containing school supplies, personal hygiene items, and gently used clothing, in an act that reaffirms the human and social commitment of our educational community.

These types of educational experiences demonstrate how academic training, when combined with service and social sensitivity, transforms lives from early childhood.
