Interview with Shok360

UMECIT recently participated in an interview on the digital media outlet Shok360, hosted by presenters Aracelis Quintero and Orman Innis, where key issues related to employability and professional development of students and graduates were addressed.

During the session, the importance of a well-crafted resume was emphasized as a fundamental tool in the selection process and for career advancement. Practical recommendations were also shared regarding the structure, content, updating, and presentation of resumes, aligned with current job market demands.

Similarly, the UMECIT Job Bank was presented as an institutional mechanism for job placement, designed to facilitate connections between companies, organizations, and graduates. In this context, an invitation was extended to more employers to join this platform, promoting the posting of job openings and strengthening employment opportunities for university graduates.

During the interview, the role played by UMECIT, through the National Graduate Coordination, in providing ongoing support to its graduates through training, career guidance, and programs focused on strengthening employability was also highlighted.

This space made it possible to highlight UMECIT's institutional commitment to comprehensive training, employability and the strengthening of the university-productive sector-society link, promoting initiatives that contribute to the professional development and competitiveness of its academic community.
