Research Policies
UMECIT's research policies are presented in terms of their articulation with the progress of the academic programs offered, understanding research as a transversal axis of the curriculum. From this perspective, the universal conception of knowledge assumed requires the following policies:
Fostering a research culture in the university community
that contributes to the generation, dissemination, appropriation and transfer of knowledge.

for the generation of knowledge in accordance with the institution's curricular educational model.

Strengthening the Research Center
through the activity of research groups, which cuts across several disciplines.
Generate mechanisms and resources
for the development of research projects and the products they generate.
Strengthening investigative praxis
and its impact through the insertion of researchers in national and international networks.
Promote scientific production
through postgraduate programs, to generate knowledge.
Encourage and stimulate the academic community
to present research projects.
Generate open calls
of national and international events that offer spaces for the dissemination of scientific production.
Promote socialization, dissemination and transfer
of the results of research and innovations.
Articulate inter-institutional efforts
for the promotion and development of research and innovation.
Promote the creation of seedbeds
to research and implement training actions that allow the development of scientific skills.
Strengthening research
as a strategy for connecting with the environment.
Regulate the application of the code and principles of bioethics
