From theory to practice: Bilingual Tourism students delve into hotel management at the Hotel Victoria & Suites Panama
With the aim of bringing future professionals closer to the reality of the hotel sector, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Tourism carried out a valuable academic tour of the facilities of Hotel Victoria & Suites Panama.
The day included a comprehensive tour of the hotel's operational areas and an enriching discussion led by the Sales Director. During this session, the students had the opportunity to discuss current industry challenges and learn firsthand about the business strategies that position the brand in the market.
Beyond an observation visit, the activity allowed students to analyze how the theoretical concepts seen in the classroom materialize in everyday life. Key aspects such as the following were explored in depth:
Strategic and operational planning.
Efficient administrative management.
The direct impact of sales on the final guest experience.
This immersion in the work environment is fundamental for students to understand the transversality of tourism services, connecting internal management with customer satisfaction.
These types of initiatives reaffirm our University's commitment to strengthening the University-Business link, guaranteeing a comprehensive education where ethical criteria, technical skills, and a global vision prepare our students to lead the tourism of the future.
