We create spaces of inclusion and recognition through workshops in partnership with the Ibrahim Foundation
On March 24, UMECIT, within the framework of the Inclusive Education Program, developed a soap-making workshop that transcended the technical aspects to become a space for meeting, learning and awareness.
The activity allowed for reflection on the value of neurodivergence, highlighting that talent, creativity and the ability to contribute to society do not respond to a single model, but are built from diversity.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of resilience and the fundamental role of families in promoting inclusive environments, where opportunities are generated from the recognition of individual abilities.
This space was developed in partnership with the Ibrahim Foundation, strengthening the institutional commitment to generating initiatives that promote inclusion, equity and human development.
Through these types of experiences, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to building a more conscious, inclusive, and supportive university community, in which recognizing others also transforms our way of understanding the environment.
