We are coordinating actions with the Herrera Down Syndrome Children's Foundation to hold the 2025 Health Fair.

As part of the institutional work agenda, on July 14th a significant meeting was held between the Extension Directorate of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- and the Down Children's Foundation of Herrera, with the purpose of coordinating joint actions for the organization of the UMECIT 2025 Health Fair.

This social fair has established itself as one of the university's flagship activities, promoting university social responsibility, community engagement, and the value of education based on principles and values.

In this edition, the fair will take place on August 30, 2025, and will focus on addressing causes of social impact in the region. The event will bring together students, faculty, administrators, graduates, and volunteers in a shared space for solidarity, coordinating efforts with key players in the health sector and social organizations.
