Framework agreement for cooperation to strengthen training and professional development

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- and MSSP Consultores, SA (MSSP Group) signed a framework agreement for inter-institutional cooperation, with the objective of developing joint initiatives focused on academic training, applied research and strengthening professional development.

The agreement will promote training programs, knowledge exchange, joint project development, academic activities and other cooperation initiatives, which will benefit students, professionals and organizations linked to the academic and business fields.

The signing ceremony was led by the Rector of UMECIT, Dr. José Alberto Nieto Rojas, who participated accompanied by his academic team: Academic Vice-Rector, Mag. Mauricio Sierra; Academic Director, Dr. Marcela Arana; Director of Extension, Mag. Yelitza González; Legal and Academic Advisor, Dr. Rosa Castañeda; Coordinator of the Occupational Safety and Health Program, Mag. Ricaurte Betancourt; and Coordinator of Agreements and Internationalization, Mag. Andrea Pinzón. Also present was Dr. José Iván Rodríguez Espino, representing MSSP Group, along with his team.

During the event, both authorities addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of establishing strategic alliances between academia and the business sector, with the purpose of strengthening human talent development, promoting innovation, and fostering projects that contribute to professional and organizational development.

With this alliance, UMECIT and MSSP Group reaffirm their commitment to quality education, knowledge generation, and strengthening the link between academia and the productive sector, thus contributing to the country's sustainable development.
