Commemoration of Early Childhood Education Day at the Faculty of Education
In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, commitment and vocation, the Faculty of Education of UMECIT celebrated the Early Childhood Education Day, a significant date that pays tribute to the beginning of a child's educational process and highlights the crucial role of early childhood education in the comprehensive development of the individual.
The day was led by students from the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education, who, in a gesture of solidarity and collaboration, shared activities of extension and research along with his classmates from the degrees in English and Physical educationThis joint effort was supported by the Directorate, the Rector's Office, the Vice-Rector's Office, the Outreach and Planning Department, the IBI Director, coordinators, and other institutional authorities.
The dynamics developed allowed future professionals to apply their knowledge in real-life contexts, strengthening their teaching skills and reaffirming our institution's commitment to an education centered on people, values, and social transformation.
During the event, the role of all the actors who make the educational process possible was highlighted:
- TO our boys and girls, we thank you for being the daily inspiration that motivates our vocation.
- TO parents, mothers and caregivers, for their trust and continued support.
- Already the teachers, for his dedication, sensitivity and transformative work that transcends the classroom.
These types of activities reaffirm that education is a team effort, and that every step we take together brings us closer to a more just, equitable and humane society.
