Academic mobility under agreement with the Universidad de los Llanos de Colombia and business visit to Georgia Tech conclude successfully

Successfully completed the Academic Mobility in collaboration with the University of the Plains of Colombia, where students and professors from both institutions exchanged academic and cultural experiences that strengthened the ties between our countries.

As part of the program, a business visit was made to Georgia Tech, an institution with which UMECIT maintains a framework cooperation agreement. During this visit, the strategic importance of Panama as the logistics hub of the Americas, highlighting how our geographic location and key infrastructure drive global trade.

The event closed with the presentation of certificates to the participants, followed by an emotional and vibrant typical dance of the Republic of Panama, showing the richness of our cultural heritage.

We thank all those involved for making this mobility a true success and reaffirm our commitment to continue building bridges of academic and cultural cooperation. Panama continues to advance as the logistical and cultural center of the Americas!
