Helmet Imposition Ceremony for the Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health

 Last Friday, May 16, 2025, the solemn ceremony took place Helmet Laying Ceremony of the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. This significant symbolic act represents a milestone in the professional training of future occupational risk prevention experts.

The ceremony was attended by university authorities, teachers, family members and the academic coordinator of the program, Professor Ricaurte Bethancourt, who offered a moving message of motivation and recognition for the students' dedication.

The helmet, the protagonist of the event, was exalted as a symbol of protection, leadership, discipline and professional ethics, fundamental values in the practice of occupational health and safety. In an atmosphere of respect and reflection, UMECIT's commitment to the comprehensive, ethical, and humanistic training of its professionals was reaffirmed.
