Act of Ceremony
Dear graduates, receive a cordial greeting.
For the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- the degree ceremony has always been one of the most important and highly relevant events for our educational community, as it highlights the efforts made by families and especially students close to receive your academic degree.
Therefore, we inform graduates with issuance of titles on July 29 and , October 7, 2022 that the Ceremony Act will be held on the following dates:
Headquarters: Province of Panama and Virtual Modality
Date: November 15, 2022
Headquarters: Veraguas Province, Santiago Headquarters
Date: November 17, 2022
Headquarters: Herrera Province, Chitré Headquarters
Date: November 17, 2022
Headquarters: Province of Chiriquí, Headquarters of David
Date: November 21, 2022
Headquarters: West Panama Province, Chorrera Headquarters
Date: November 23, 2022
Additional Information:
Those graduates who are in good standing with the University must confirm their attendance at the ceremony in the links that are enabled for each venue. On the other hand, we require that you send a passport-size photograph with a light background and formal clothing (men's white shirt and tie, women's solid color dress).
The period of registration and confirmation of attendance at the ceremonies is from October 12 to 29, 2022. (An early closing is contemplated in case of completing the maximum capacity of participants).
As of November 2, the invitation cards and instructions for graduates will be sent, for those who confirmed attendance to all venues.
It is essential to attach the receipt of payment of the cap and gown rental to the registration form to participate in the ceremony.
For those people who do not attend the ceremony, the diplomas will be delivered the day after the events at their respective venues. As soon as the schedule, we will notify to avoid infections and crowds.
If you are not yet financially sound and secure, you should contact the portfolio department before completing your confirmation for the ceremony.
