The David Headquarters launched an important campaign for recycling and proper use of cooking oil, in alliance with AGEMA, a community-based organization recognized for its work in developing ecological practices in the region.
During the day, training workshops were offered to students from various programs, with the goal of promoting responsible handling of used household oil. If poorly managed, this waste can cause serious damage to the environment, especially to water bodies and sewage systems.
This campaign seeks to raise awareness about the importance of not disposing of cooking oil down the sink, encouraging its proper collection for recycling processes, such as biodiesel production.
With initiatives like this, the David Campus reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and the comprehensive education of its students, who acquire not only technical knowledge but also values that make them agents of change.
📅 The day of used oil collection will be held next November 1st at David Headquarters, during business hours 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Students, teachers, administrators, and the community at large are invited to join by bringing used oil from their homes for responsible and environmentally friendly disposal.
With small actions, we make big strides toward a cleaner, healthier environment.
Your participation counts! Come and be part of the change.
