The 2026 Entrepreneurship Bazaar promotes talent and innovation at UMECIT La Chorrera

The event was a great success Entrepreneurship Bazaar of the First Period 2026 at the La Chorrera headquarters, consolidating itself as a dynamic, inclusive event full of opportunities for the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The event brought together more than 40 entrepreneurs, including first-year students, current students, graduates, and external entrepreneurs, creating a space for growth, innovation, and networking. Led by UMECIT's La Chorrera campus, the event strengthens ties with the community and promotes an entrepreneurial spirit.

During the event, artisans from the La Chorrera International Fair, the Ministry of Culture of Panama, the Chamber of Commerce of West Panama, the Municipality of La Chorrera, and the National Police of Zone 10 participated. Strategic partners such as Smart Fit, Clínica Hospital Saturno, and Medical Dental Center also provided health and wellness services.

The bazaar offered a wide variety of experiences, including crafts, jewelry, food, services, health and beauty products, as well as literary exhibits by authors from West Panama such as Alfredo Mitre and Melanie Taylor. The cultural atmosphere was complemented by live musical performances, notably a violin performance that enriched the experience for attendees.

The high public participation and the enthusiasm of the attendees reflected the positive impact of the event, which not only served as a showcase for local talent, but also as a space that promotes the economic, cultural and social development of the region.
