APEDE Azuero renews its board of directors with a focus on regional development

As part of its commitment to social engagement with the community, UMECIT Chitré Campus was invited to participate in the Board change ceremony for the Azuero Chapter of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDE).

During the ceremony, outgoing President Edwin Reina recognized the academy's contribution and emphasized the importance of developing projects that strengthen inland communities, calling on the country's key stakeholders to promote new projects that generate employment and boost the regional economy.

From UMECIT Chitré we extend our congratulations to Edixa Gutiérrez Franco, the first woman to assume the Presidency of APEDE Azuero, who in her speech emphasized the problem of water and the pollution of the La Villa River, highlighting its impact on the region's economy and the need to invest in innovation and technology.
