IN BALLISTICS "BALLISTIC FORUM"
The Ballistics Hotbed «BALLISTIC FORUM» It is established as a research and practical application space dedicated to the study of firearms, their operation, characteristics and their involvement in criminal investigations. In a context where forensic ballistics plays a crucial role in the identification of weapons used in crimes, this hotbed is presented as a place to develop technical and scientific skills in the analysis of ballistic evidence.
Made up of students and professionals interested in the field of justice and public safety, the incubator aims to contribute to the development of capabilities in the field of ballistics, train future experts in the analysis of firearms and promote effective investigative practices. and ethics.
IN BALLISTICS "BALLISTIC FORUM"
Training in Identification and Analysis of Firearms: The incubator aims to provide theoretical and practical training in firearms identification and analysis techniques, including the study of their operation, characteristics and identification marks. Through theoretical and practical sessions, participants will acquire specialized knowledge in the field of forensic ballistics, enabling them to carry out effective investigations into the use of weapons in crimes.
Development of Skills in Ballistic Analysis: The incubator seeks to develop skills in the analysis of ballistic evidence collected at crime scenes, using specialized forensic tools and techniques. Participants will learn to examine and compare casings, projectiles and other ballistic elements, in order to establish connections between weapons and crimes, thus contributing to the identification of suspects and the resolution of criminal cases.
Application of Scientific Methods in Criminal Investigation: One of the main objectives of the incubator is to promote the use of rigorous scientific methods in criminal investigation, especially in the analysis of ballistic evidence. Through practical activities and controlled experiments, the development of analytical and critical skills among participants will be promoted, preparing them to face the challenges and complexities of ballistics research in the field.
IN BALLISTICS "BALLISTIC FORUM"
The Ballistics Hotbed "BALLISTIC FORUM" is based on solid conceptual and theoretical bases in the field of forensic ballistics, which include:
1. Principles of Forensic Ballistics:
The incubator is based on the study of the fundamental principles of forensic ballistics, including the study of the trajectory of bullets, the identification of firearms and the reconstruction of ballistic events. Emphasis is placed on the importance of following international protocols and standards in the collection and analysis of ballistic evidence, guaranteeing the integrity and validity of the results obtained.
2. Technology and Analytical Methods:
The study of ballistic analysis tools and techniques used in criminal investigation is addressed, including fire mark comparison methods, gunshot residue analysis, and ballistic trajectory analysis. Emphasis is placed on the importance of constant updating and ethical management of technology, to facilitate the identification and analysis of ballistic evidence in the investigative process.
3. Ethics in Ballistics Research:
It reflects on the ethical and legal principles that guide ballistics research, including respect for human rights, privacy and confidentiality of information, and impartiality in the analysis of evidence. The importance of acting with integrity and responsibility at all stages of the investigative process is highlighted, always maintaining objectivity and impartiality.
