Futsal
Become a member of the UMECIT University Futsal Team. With this discipline you will be able to develop skills that enhance your emotional intelligence, strengthen teamwork and effort to achieve your goals, additionally contribute to sportsmanship such as discipline and perseverance.
By participating in the selection you will be able to represent UMECIT in the university tournaments of this discipline organized by the University Sports Association of Panama (ADEUPA), among other competitions, which are taking place inside and outside the national territory.

With two exciting matches between the teams that reached the final in the female and male modality, a grand final of this championship was held, which resulted in the following winners: in the female modality, Colegio Monseñor Francisco Beckman, in second place IPT J. Duncan. And in the men's match, the first place went to the Instituto Rubiano, with the Colegio Francisco De
Miranda.
Almost two months have passed since that June 4, the day the FUTSAL championship was inaugurated, the UMECIT 2022 Intercollegiate Cup with 360 students representing 24 teams... There were 8 days where Saturday after Saturday the teams gave their best, leaving practically the skin on the court.
They were fair, friendly games, full of healthy competition and that is the best example we can leave in this academic space: values, collective work and friendship.
We congratulate the two winning teams, but also all the participating teams and we invite them not to give up, to keep going and always keep in mind the importance of physical and sports activities for educational use.
Today the champions who lift the cup win a university scholarship for each of its members. For its part, the runner-up team receives half a university scholarship, also for each of the participants and the rest of the players have a 25% discount on the value of tuition, for the fact of participating in the championship.
We invite you to make use of it, remember that sports and education go hand in hand and that only knowledge will take you to unimagined places,
