Career Description
The Master's Degree in Organizational Management program seeks to train professionals with the best quality, capable of providing consulting and advice on the management of organizations, in order to guide them to achieve better optimization, through diagnosis and intervention of operating patterns, which allows proposing strategies for transformation with short and long term impact on the various scenarios.
The Master’s Degree in Organizational Management promotes the necessary skills to achieve a strategic and efficient management of resources, so that graduates acquire the ability to plan, design, implement, control and improve integrated systems in a creative and entrepreneurial way, in order to achieve better performance of organizations. In addition, the program offers the particular characteristic of using advanced tools and techniques, typical of consulting for organizations, but with a high human sense and always looking for the collective good as the mission objective of these organizations.

- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (if you are a foreigner, the document must be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your respective country).
- Certificate of credits or degree notes or its equivalent (if you are a foreigner, the documents must be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your respective country).
- Identity document, identity card or passport (in the case of foreigners and residing in Panama during their studies).
- Two passport size photos. Applicant letter.
- Entry application form completed in electronic format.
- Study individually and in a team. Develop research skills and learn from discovery.
- Deepen in the disciplinary knowledge that interests him/her.
- Respect and comply with the regulations established by the statutes that regulate the relationship between the Metropolitan University of Education Science and Technology and the students.
- Comply with payments in a timely manner.
- Attend the 80% of the scheduled meetings in each subject (in case of a prolonged absence present the respective justification).
- For studies under the virtual modality, attendance is regulated by constant interaction in all activities planned on the platform, including synchronous and asynchronous meetings, as well as the student's autonomous work.
- Satisfactorily pass all the subjects of the study plan.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative and individual academic index per subject of 2.00, on a scale of 0 to 3.00.
- Present an exam or certificate of a foreign language recognized by UNESCO and valid (five years).
- Take an exam or certificate in the management of computer tools. Sustain graduation work or equivalent.
Knowing:
- Master the paradigms, theories, approaches and concepts that support organizational management models, assuming a strategic vision for the dynamic and complex understanding of the business reality.
- Know the fundamentals of strategic management to generate managerial solutions, based on the factors associated with marketing, generation and fundraising, among other aspects inherent to organizational management.
- Consider continuous improvement as a management philosophy, based on the recognition of the different quality systems and their implementation tools.
- Will argue the tasks and competences of the manager of a social organization, from the implicit processes of the administrative functions of planning, direction, control and evaluation.
- Master the financial conceptual foundations to achieve the optimization of resources in organizations.
- Understand the different quantitative-statistical methods, as well as their application for decision making in financial terms related to the organizational management process.
- Conceptualize the financial decision making process, according to the existing theoretical models.
- Understand the advantages of the organizational management model based on social responsibility as a means for self-sustainability.
- Interpret the existing methodologies for the management of social programs, plans and projects that contribute to the increase of productivity and competitiveness of the companies.
- Analyze management needs in the organizational context, in order to generate research proposals that contribute to the development of scientific knowledge in the area.
- Demonstrate conceptual knowledge of their area of training and the leadership that characterizes them when undertaking actions, processes and projects.
- Interpret and apply ethics as a practice to achieve a system of values, norms, principles and humanly acceptable behaviors in the organization.
- Direct organizational management, based on current marketing principles and techniques, to promote the positioning of a company in the global market.
- Implement pertinent tools for the development of a quality management culture in the organizations from the different existing models.
- Master the techniques of analysis and interpretation of accounting reports.
- Apply statistical and quantitative methods for the analysis of information that contributes to decision making in organizations.
- Formulate management strategies to make high-impact financial decisions in the organization.
- Will create strategic plans based on the planning, direction and organizational development of social enterprises.
- Will design plans and programs focused on the development of human resources and volunteering, with the aim of achieving the strategic framework of a social organization.
- Will formulate, implement and evaluate projects and programs to address the development of organizations of a social nature from a managerial perspective.
- Plan, organize, control and direct the managerial practice from a social perspective, taking into account the strategic criteria that aim at efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advise organizations in the implementation of the management philosophy based on Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Execute managerial actions in the companies of social character according to the ethical approaches in the organizations.
- Propose alternative solutions to the problems of the disciplinary field, detected through the systematic process of scientific research.
- Will be an integral, creative, ethical and social professional in the area of organizational management, with special sensitivity and recognition of social needs.
- Will be able to analyze, reason, justify facts and elaborate arguments to become a free being capable of learning by himself/herself.
- Will argue rationally and consciously, without forgetting to respect different ideas.
