The needs of the career in the country are closely related to the job possibilities of graduates of the Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis on Senior Management. The large and medium-sized projects that are developed in the country need high-level professionals, who are required in almost all fields of industry and commerce and, for this reason, companies and the public sector require qualified personnel to his execution. In the various engineering projects that are developed for different organizations or businesses, there is a need for business management and administration professionals, since large quantities of goods and services are handled for their development, making it necessary to carry out registration activities. , control, purchase, sale and commercial relations, typical of a high-level professional in administration. These disciplines, due to the level of complexity of their projects, usually hire management professionals with the highest qualifications.

All applicants must submit the following documentation duly scanned from the original and sent to the promoter to be uploaded to the respective platform:

• Electronic admission form.
• Submit a research protocol. 
• Submit resume with supports.
• Conduct an admission interview with the coordination of the doctorate.
• Master's degree obtained. 
• Master's credits or notes or their equivalent obtained with a minimum index of 2.0. 
• Passport size photo
• Identification document

If you are a foreigner, the aforementioned documents must be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your respective country. In the event that the country does not have a consulate, it must be processed before the official authorities that validate it.

• Certification of basic knowledge of the Spanish language for foreign students whose mother tongue is different.
• Authorized translation into Spanish of titles and credits (if necessary)

Note: Students enrolled in virtual modality whose nationality is different from Panamanian, must present a copy of their personal identity document from the country of origin (ID). 

In case of being a foreign student these documents must be provided with an apostille stamp or legalization through diplomatic channels and its translation in Spanish.

The permanence in the University will depend on the motivation, capacity and vision of the student to obtain the chosen degree. The student must maintain a minimum Academic Index of 2.0 and/or a minimum grade of 85 (B). 

Given the profile of the curricular educational model "CYBERHUMANIST" of the university, the student must: 

• Study in teams and individually.
• Develop research skills based on discovery learning. 
• Deepen in the disciplinary knowledge that is of interest to them. 
• Respect and comply with the regulations established by the statutes that regulate the relationship between the University and the students.
• Be up to date with their monthly payments.
• Attend at least 80% of the meetings under the face-to-face modality.
• For studies under the virtual modality, attendance is regulated by constant interaction in all activities planned on the platform, including synchronous and asynchronous meetings, as well as the development of the student's autonomous work.
• In case of prolonged absence, the student must present a justified argumentation. 
• All students in doctoral programs must have basic knowledge of computer science.
• Check knowledge of a language other than yours that allows you to read bibliography of the specialty. Said language must be one of those officially recognized by UNESCO; (Certification or knowledge test) (preferably English language. 
• Participate in curricular, extracurricular and professional development activities organized by the doctoral program.
• Develop your doctoral research in correspondence with a problem in the area of your training and the development of the search for solutions. 
• Participate in two congresses as a speaker or participant in the area of knowledge of the doctorate
• Present, defend and approve the doctoral thesis draft
• Present doctoral candidacy exam. 

To obtain the Doctorate in Business Administration with Emphasis in Senior Management, the following is required:

• Take and pass the academic content of the respective semesters.
• Take and pass all the subjects of the study plan with a minimum grade of 85 points equivalent to a B. 
• Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than two (2.00) on a scale of three (3.00).
• Delivery, support and approval of the doctoral thesis. 
• Publication of two scientific articles in indexed scientific journals.
• Presentation of the research work in at least one international event based in Panama or in another country.
• Take a proficiency test in English or another international language
• Be in good standing with the institution (financial, academic, and library).
