Career Description
The Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Production with Emphasis in Radio and Television develops skills to create products for Audiovisual Communication media such as cinema, radio, and television. The audiovisual producer is present in the pre-production, production and production phase of radio and television media and the new digital communication platforms.
The competencies developed by the students of the degree in audiovisual production are focused on radio and television and involve the areas of audiovisual production in its pre-production, production and post-production stages. Additionally, the areas of technical training in photography, advertising, marketing, drawing, animation and management of technical tools for lights, sounds, and videos are included.
Graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Production will have knowledge and skills in different areas of the national and international economy such as production companies, media, industry, commerce, government sector and may also exercise their professional activity independently.
The curriculum is designed in such a way that the linguistic (Spanish and English), artistic, cultural, general and legal knowledge are skills and competencies that will be acquired throughout the years of study, strengthening in an integral way the professional graduates of this career.
The graduate in Audiovisual Production with Emphasis in Radio and Television will be able to exercise his professional activity in different sectors and companies of communication, digital media, education, NGOs, telephony and government radio communications, as well as in the following areas:
- Advertising agencies.
- Multimedia and video game producers.
- Movie producers.
- Communication and entertainment companies.
- Digital Animation Company.
Applicants for the Audiovisual Production Technician and the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Production with emphasis in Radio and Television must meet the following requirements:
- Copy of the baccalaureate degree.
- Photocopy of the Identity Card (Birth Certificate or Passport in the case of being a foreigner).
- Medical certificate of good health (present exams).
- Two photocopies of authenticated credits.
- Two passport size photos.
Fill out the application form for admission to the program.
- The permanence in the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Production with Emphasis in Radio and Television at the university will depend solely and exclusively on the student's motivation, ability and vision to obtain the chosen academic degree.
- It must be taken into account that the general average or cumulative index in the career cannot be less than 71, based on a maximum score of 100.
- Each subject must be above 71 to be approved (Scale from 1 to 100).
- In order to pass each course, the student must obtain a grade of no less than C and maintain an academic index of no less than 1.00. (Scale of 1 to 3.00).
- No student will be able to continue in the course if he/she has a four-month cumulative index lower than 1.00.
- Attendance is mandatory for at least 80% of each course.
- Study in teams and on your own.

To obtain the title of Technician the following is required:

- Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than one (1.0) on a scale of one to three (1 to 3).
Note:
- In order to pass each subject, the participant must obtain a minimum grade of 71 on a scale of 1 to 100, which is equivalent to item C.
Others
- Study and pass a specialization seminar or specialization diploma at the end of the VI semester.
- Be in good standing with the institution (financial, academic, and library).
To obtain the Bachelor's Degree, it is required
Index
- Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than one (1.0) on a scale of one to three (1 to 3).
English exam
- Take a certification exam of a second language recognized by UNESCO, in accordance with internal regulations.

- Take and pass all the subjects of the study plan with a minimum grade of 71 points equivalent to a C.

- Analyze the theoretical aspects and the different techniques and procedures used in audiovisual production.
