Career Description
Additionally, professionals will be trained with knowledge in the operation of the entities that make up the banking system and the banking market both nationally and internationally, through which they will be able to know the existing sources of financing and investment so that they can make appropriate decisions in the management and control of banking and financial resources.

The requirements for admission to the Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance are the following:
- Original and copy (collation) of the diploma and credits of the high school diploma in commerce, sciences, letters or computer science approved by MEDUCA or its equivalent (in case of being a foreigner the documents must be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of their respective country and have the endorsement of the Ministry of Education of Panama).
- Photocopy of identity card. In case the applicant is a minor or a foreigner, two copies of the birth certificate or two copies of the passport, respectively, must be submitted.
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Medical certificate of good health.
- Two photocopies of authenticated credits.
- Fill out the application form to join the program.
- The permanence in the Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance will depend solely and exclusively on the student's motivation, capacity and vision to obtain the chosen academic degree.
- In the same way, the student must keep in mind that his or her general average or cumulative index in his or her career cannot be less than 71, based on a maximum score of 100.
- Within the evaluation criteria explained below, it is clearly identified that all subjects must be above 71 for approval (scale from 0 to 100).
- In order to pass each subject, the participant must obtain a grade of no less than C and maintain an academic index of no less than 1.00. (Scale from 0 to 3.00).
- No student will be able to continue in the course if he/she has a four-month cumulative index lower than 1.00.
- Attendance is mandatory for at least 80% of each course.
- Given the characteristics of the institution, the student will be able to:
- Study in teams and on their own.
- Research in their areas of greatest importance.
- Complement the knowledge you need.

- Pass all subjects in the study plan with a minimum grade of C or 71 points.
- Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than one (1.0) on a scale of one to three.
- Present the degree option: professional practice or diploma.
- Be in good standing with the institution.

- Pass all the subjects contemplated in the study plan.
- Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than one (1.0), on a scale of one to three.
- Maintain an average higher than 71 and have no subjects lower than 71. On a scale of 0 to 100.
- Satisfactorily complete the supervised professional internship.
- Elaborate and support the professional practice report.
- Pass an English language exam.
- Be in good standing with the institution.
- Enroll and pass one of the following requirements:
- Enroll and take specialization courses.
- Submit and pass a general knowledge test.
- Possess the ability to resolve difficult work and professional situations with honesty, effectiveness and the best achievement for the performance of the company.
- Comply with the rules and ethical principles that regulate the profession.
- Perform supervisory and control tasks under principles of companionship and respect for the human condition of subordinates.
- Possess a constant attitude of staff and professional improvement that allow him/her to ensure a permanent preparation and updating in and for life.
- Formulate the solution and treatment of the multiple problems posed by the administration and expansion of businesses linked directly or indirectly to the banking and financial sector.
- Design products generated in the analysis of the demand and competition, to technically face their development, advertising, sale and quality control of the service.
- Supervise the process of defining operational objectives, taking into account the company's Global Strategy.
- Analyze and design the different accounting systems applied to the Company, in order to obtain the greatest benefit from the management of financial-accounting information.
- Collaborate and prepare the different budgets applied to the normal development of the administrative activity.
Know:
- Analyze the organizational environment in terms of strengths and weaknesses linked directly or indirectly to the particularities of the sector and its relationship with the national and international environment.
- Formulate management plans that allow setting the actions to be developed to comply with the business of each of the units that make up the organization.
- Use the tools and knowledge acquired in the financial area of banking.
- Operate effectively within the framework of labor regulations, where commercial banking is immersed.
- Assist in the design and formulation of policies and strategies of the organizations.
- Collaborate in the design and application of Administrative Audits, in order to optimize the use of scarce resources.
- Participate in the preparation of financial forecasts, projected and actual statements and balance sheets.
- Know the techniques for financial analysis, financial planning, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, valuation, and evaluation of projects from a financial point of view.
- Maintain a lifelong learning attitude that includes manifesting interest and acting in a constant search for information and professional improvement, committing to contribute to professional development in order to improve practice competencies and maintain the status that corresponds to a licensed and regulated profession.

- Solve most of the situations by establishing a direct and assertive communication as well as showing respect, appreciation and sensitivity to their own work and that of others.
