Aitza Porcell De Del Busto
Graduate in Business Administration and Master with emphasis in Marketing. Expert in the Insurance industry, with specialization in Individual and Business Life Insurance, Medical Insurance and General Insurance. With strong technical knowledge of the market, product development and sales through different marketing channels. Accredited by the Superintendency of Insurance and Reinsurance of Panama as an Insurance Broker in the Personal, General and Surety Branch, dedicated to the marketing of insurance products. Within his work experience he was Senior Manager of Customer Experience and Manager of Bancassurance and Mass Mass at Multibank Seguros, Vice President of Products and Technical Vice President of Personal Branches at HSBC Seguros, Deputy Sales Manager at Nacional de Seguros/Seguros Chagres and Administration Manager of Sales of Metropolitana de Seguros de Vida/Grupo ASSA.
Ariel Ortega Portugal
Executive with more than fourteen years of experience, noted for his ability in training and leading multidisciplinary work teams, focused on achieving objectives and optimizing processes. Lawyer with specialization in Insurance and Commercial Law, he has a consolidated career in the insurance sector, where he has successfully led recovery, legal affairs, claims management and customer service departments. He is currently Deputy Director of Claims (Benefits) at Mapfre Panamá and in his previous work experience he was Executive Claims Manager at Banesco Seguros SA, Recovery Supervisor and Legal Supervisor at Assa Compañía de Seguros, Claims Manager at Assa Compañía de Seguros and Legal Assistant in ACP. He has several studies, among them: Higher Technician in Risk Management and Insurance Sales (ASSA Higher Studies Center), Bachelor's Degree in Law and Political Science (Sigma Lambda Honor Chapter at the University of Panama) and Master's Degree in Commercial Law ( Santa María la Antigua Catholic University), with complementary education in a Diploma in Human Rights and Labor Law and advanced courses in collection management. Among his academic achievements, he represented the University of Panama in the Jean Pictet International Humanitarian Law Competition in Switzerland, 2008 and participated in the International Commercial Arbitration Competition in Argentina, 2009.
Jorge Barreiro
Architect graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Panama, specialist in Claims for Technical Branches and Various Risks, with 33 years of involvement in insurance, speaker, speaker, interviewee, panelist, teacher, with multiple forums, trainings, seminars and talks given on various Insurance topics. Currently Executive Director of Directo Seguros and Professor/Teacher of the subject of Risks and Insurance. Alternatively, he works as an external consultant for several insurers on construction inspection and bond claims. In addition, he is general producer and presenter of the program EL ABC de Seguros in a radio space. With extensive work experience: Damages Manager and Latin American Regional Manager of Mclarens-Toplish, Technical Manager of Aseguradora La Unión, Technical Commercial Manager of Compañía de Seguros Chagres, Management and later Vice President of Damages and Life Claims in the merger of Seguros Chagres and Conase, VPA of Claims and Technical VP of HSBC, VPA of General Claims at Aseguradora Mundial SA, General Manager and Vice President of Nacional de Seguros. Currently, he also holds different roles and positions such as Director, President and Partner within different companies in his commercial group.
