Within the framework of the social connection that characterizes the UMECIT, with the business and productive sector at local, regional, national and international levels, the Extension Directorate contemplates a set of strategic actions leading to the planning, direction, control and evaluation of activities that essentially pose the scope of institutional policies on said substantive function.

In this sense, the university contemplates Extension as a humanizing process that demands the intervention and social responsibility of the members of its intra and extra organizational network, internationalization processes, continuing education and engagement with graduates, entrepreneurship, among other dimensions associated with the development of the potential and capabilities of our students and the community in general.
