Extension

Within the framework of the social link that characterizes the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT), with the business and productive sector at a local, regional, national, and international level, the Extension Directorate contemplates a set of strategic actions leading to to the planning, direction, control, and evaluation of activities that inherently raise the scope of institutional policies on said substantive function.

In this sense, the university considers extension as a humanizing process that demands the intervention and social responsibility of the members of its intra- and extra-organizational network, internationalization processes, continuous education, and links with graduates, entrepreneurship, among other dimensions associated with development of the potentialities and capacities of our students and the community in general.
