Dear graduates, receive a cordial greeting.
For the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- the degree ceremony has always been one of the most important and highly relevant events for our educational community, as it highlights the efforts made by families and especially students close to receive your academic degree.
Below we share the dates of the graduation ceremonies:
Headquarters: Province of Panama and Colombia Virtual Modality
Date: July 11, 2024
Headquarters: Province of Chiriquí, Headquarters of David
Date: July 17, 2024
Headquarters: Veraguas Province, Santiago Headquarters
Date: July 18, 2024
Headquarters: Herrera Province, Chitré Headquarters
Date: July 31, 2024
Headquarters: West Panama Province, Chorrera Headquarters
Date: August 2, 2024
Participation requirements:
Be approved as graduating on the Cibersity platform.
Have no outstanding debts with the University.
Make the payment for the gown directly at the cashier at the UMECIT headquarters, where you will participate in the graduation ceremony.
Fill out the ceremony attendance record at the link corresponding to your venue.
If you are traveling from abroad, review the special instructions in the participation link (Prov. of Panama and virtual modality Colombia).
If you have outstanding debts, please contact portfolio@umecit.edu.pa before registering for the ceremony. If you are not financially safe and sound, your registration will be annulled.
The delivery dates for invitations, titles and graduation ceremonies are subject to change due to force majeure. Any modification will be informed in a timely manner.
Delivery of invitations
Starting July 1, 2024, invitation cards and instructions will be sent to those graduates who confirmed attendance. At the same time, a virtual meeting will be announced to learn about the graduation ceremony process
