English has become the primary language for interaction in today's globalized world. Managing it with ease, both orally and in writing, is a skill that opens work and academic doors for us.
English courses on the platform UMECIT-DEXWAY they allow us to learn English in a different way than we are used to. Because? For these reasons:
- You take a placement test that determines your real level of language proficiency, and you are enrolled at that level so that you feel comfortable and can learn what you really need.
- Learning is totally individual. It is not necessary to adjust to the rhythm of the other users, you have your own pace of learning.
- You have access to the platform 24/7 and 365 days a year.
- You can consult with a tutor any doubt that arises with the learning material, and you can interact with other learners who are at your level, if you wish.

General objective
Promote meaningful learning through the development of communication skills in the English language to obtain, select and use oral and written information in that language, following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), at the level of performance that the placement test indicates that it is appropriate for the student.
Specific objectives
- Develop capacities for the appropriate use of the English language, orally in authentic communication situations.
- Develop capacities for the appropriate use of the English language, in written form in authentic communication situations.
- Original and copy of high school diploma and credits.
- 2 copies of ID card (in case of being a minor, birth certificate or passport in case of being a foreigner).
- 2 passport size photos.
Medical certificate of good health.
- In case of being a foreigner, diploma and credits apostilled before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective country; endorsed by the Ministry of Education of Panama.
- Copy of ID and signature of the person responsible for the payment.
Completion of the application form for admission to the program.
- Complete and pass the total number of subjects of the study plan with a minimum grade of 71 points.
- Have an academic index of not less than one (1).
- Take the undergraduate seminar.
- Complete and pass all the subjects of the study plan with a minimum grade of 71 points. Maintain a cumulative academic index of not less than one (1.0) on a scale of one to three.
- Have an academic index of not less than one (1).
- Pass an English language exam.
- Satisfactorily complete the supervised professional internship.
- Be in good standing with the institution.
- Study and pass one of the degree options: thesis, specialization subjects or a diploma in the specialty.
