Its role is to provide methods and techniques to plan, collect, organize, process, analyze and interpret the data of a population under study, which allows inferring about a part of it and fulfilling the objectives established in scientific research works, intervention or institutional archives.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the careers offered by UMECIT, such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Health and Safety, Health Education with an Emphasis in Health Promotion, General Psychology and Medical Records and Health Statistics, investigative processes are carried out throughout the different subjects. , or at the end of the careers, for the delivery of degree works both in the Degrees and the Postgraduates, where Statistics provides them with a variety of alternatives for data analysis, depending on the requirements of each investigation and compliance with the Established goals.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The UMECIT Research and Postgraduate Department promotes this type of discussion for research teachers and Postgraduate students to promote a better rapprochement of Statistics with the specialized needs in each field of science, and in a very particular way in this case to health Sciences.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective of this type of discussion is to present the role of statistics throughout the entire process of scientific research, emphasizing Health Sciences, and offer recommendations for the best use of existing resources and the strengthening of research and
