The Rector of the Universidad Metropolitana de Educaci\u00f3n, Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda - UMECIT-,Dr. Jos\u00e9 Alberto Nieto Rojas submitted the Self-Evaluation Report to\u00a0CONEAUPA<\/a>, last Friday, August 19, 2022.<\/p>

This event is the continuation of the external evaluation phase of the institutional reaccreditation process that began in August 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The institutional accreditation renewal process is the guarantee of verification by academic peers of the quality of an institution's programs, its organization, operation and the fulfillment of its social work.<\/p>

The fundamental benefits of the reaccreditation process, among many others, are: \"to ensure the level of quality of education in a country, guarantee access to vulnerable populations, equity and development of the continent.<\/p>

At the delivery of the accreditation report, the Rector of our House of Studies was accompanied by the Administrative Vice Rector, Mar\u00eda Piedad Nieto Rojas; the Academic Vice Rector, Hermes Mauricio Sierra; the Director of Accreditation, Gressy Zu\u00f1iga; the Director of Quality, Boris Castillo and the Legal Advisor, Rosa Idal\u00ed Casta\u00f1eda.<\/p>

The report was received by Dr. Mar\u00eda del Carmen Terrientes de Benavides, Executive Secretary of CONEAUPA and Dr. Rebeca de Melgar, Deputy Secretary.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
