This information will allow progress toward formulating proposals and conservation strategies based on scientific evidence, seeking to integrate the well-being of communities with the protection of local biodiversity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The research team and the authorities of UMECIT Chitr\u00e9 Headquarters thanked the community leaders, authorities of the province of Herrera and, especially, the residents of El Ret\u00e9n and Playa El Agallito for their willingness, knowledge of the territory and collaboration during the development of the field
