In this way, research is not limited to explaining a reality, but rather seeks to understand it. <\/span><b>to understand it and, at the same time, contribute to transforming it<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>81 students and 31 research projects<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result of the training process, approximately <\/span><b>81 student researchers presented 31 research projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, developed from different areas of knowledge.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The works were done by students from the undergraduate programs of <\/span><b>Law and Political Science, Criminalistics, Systems and Programming, Medical Records, Environmental Management, and Social Work<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The day unfolded under a <\/span><b>hybrid mode<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Integrating the analysis and discussion of research articles into class groups strengthened academic exchange and promoted the active participation of students and teachers.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The projects were evaluated and enriched with input from the teachers. <\/span><b>Francis Escobar, Osvaldo Sol\u00eds, Karen Botello, C\u00e9sar Tobar and C\u00e9sar Hidalgo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who accompanied the process from an academic and methodological perspective.<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Recognition of outstanding projects<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the evaluation process, the projects that achieved the top positions were recognized:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83e\udd47 <\/span><b>First place:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cInnovative web platform for reporting and monitoring water resource incidents in Chitr\u00e9\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Developed by students <\/span><b>Cristhian Castro S\u00e1ez and Omar De Jes\u00fas Espinosa Pinto<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the guidance of the teacher <\/span><b>Guillermina Higuera<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, from the Bachelor&#039;s Degree in Systems and Programming.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83e\udd48 <\/span><b>Second place:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDevelopment of an institutional web platform for the Tom\u00e1s Herrera Bilingual School\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, presented by the student researcher <\/span><b>Cristian Castro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the guidance of the teacher <\/span><b>Isela L\u00f3pez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83e\udd49 <\/span><b>Third place:<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cRoutine habits as a risk factor in victim selection\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Developed by students <\/span><b>Angelica de Icaza Gutierrez and Arian Martinez Batista<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the guidance of the teacher <\/span><b>C\u00e9sar Hidalgo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The quality of the projects presented reflected the commitment of the students and teachers to the development of research based on rigorous processes, analysis of real problems and search for alternatives that can generate significant contributions in different areas of society.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>XXV Student Research Conference<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It also represents an opportunity to
