class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students from the Criminalistics I course (Saturday modality) of the Faculty of Law and Forensic Sciences carried out a day of delivering baskets for newborns at the Maternity Ward of the Santo Tom\u00e1s Hospital.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The activity was developed under the guidance of teachers Francisco Wellington and Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez, who accompanied the students during the different scheduled days, promoting a learning experience that integrated academic training with community service.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the visit, the students shared with mothers and families celebrating the arrival of a new member, handing out baby baskets as a gesture of solidarity, empathy and support during one of the most significant moments of their lives.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond the delivery of supplies, the initiative helped strengthen values such as social sensitivity, responsibility, respect for human dignity, and commitment to the well-being of the community in future criminalists, pillars that complement the technical and scientific training they receive in the classroom.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These experiences, which are part of UMECIT&#039;s educational model and are part of the Extension and Social Engagement activities, promote a comprehensive education aimed at preparing professionals capable of responding with excellence, ethics, and a human touch to
