As part of their professional training, students of the subject Ocular Inspection II participated in the Workshop on Processing the Scene of the Crimes: Collection of Footprints and Preparation of the Chain of Custody, an academic activity aimed at strengthening the technical and scientific skills necessary for criminal investigation.<\/p>

The workshop was led by Professor Abel Guevara, who guided the students through a simulation designed to recreate the conditions of a crime scene. During the exercise, participants applied procedures related to the search, documentation, securing, collection, packaging, and preservation of evidence, following established criminalistics protocols.<\/p>

Through this experience, the students understood the importance of acting with rigor, precision, and ethics in handling evidence, recognizing that each clue can be crucial for reconstructing the facts and developing an objective and reliable investigation.<\/p>

The activity also strengthened skills in technical decision-making, methodological work, and the preservation of the chain of custody, fundamental elements to guarantee the integrity and traceability of evidence within the judicial process.<\/p>
