Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and the Technological University of
Panama (UTP) successfully concluded the University Congress on Neurodevelopment and
Sensory Disability \u00abEducating from Diversity\u00bb, an academic initiative
which brought together students, teachers, administrative staff, and professionals
independent entities, public institutions, civil society organizations and
specialists committed to strengthening higher education every
increasingly human, accessible and people-centered.
Over two days, attendees participated in an academic program
robust, up-to-date and relevant, designed to promote the exchange of
knowledge, experiences and best practices surrounding the challenges and
opportunities that education presents today in terms of support,
accessibility, participation and integral development of people.
The congress provided a space for reflection where academia engaged in dialogue
with those who, from different fields, accompany educational processes on a daily basis,
social and family aspects. This diversity of perspectives enriched the discussions and
