Furthermore, this approach allows the university to position itself within the productive ecosystem, generating opportunities for collaborative projects, professional internships, innovation programs, and knowledge transfer initiatives.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the participating authorities were representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI), the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Authority (AMPYME), the Public Ministry, the Mayor&#039;s Office of the district of La Chorrera, as well as members of the Chamber of Commerce of Panama West.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will focus on the theme <\/span><b>\u201cSkills, Equity and Innovation: the new map of the labor market, its impact on university education and its link with the productive sector\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with the aim of generating synergies that allow anticipating labor trends, identifying market needs and promoting concrete actions that strengthen the relationship between higher education and employability.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The activity \u201cConnecting Education and Employment: Talent, Opportunity and Science\u201d is envisioned as a dynamic space for dialogue, reflection and action, where academia, the business sector and government entities will converge, promoting innovative solutions, fostering youth employability and contributing to the development of a more inclusive, competitive and sustainable labor market.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Representing UMECIT were the Director of Extension, Yelitza Gonzales; the Director of Graduates, Emmanuel Mendieta; and the Extension Coordinator of the La Chorrera campus, Alexis Del Cid, who held meetings with key stakeholders in the province of Panama Oeste.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
