400;\">Last Saturday, April 18, the La Chorrera branch of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- enthusiastically participated in the National Student Research Day, consolidating an academic space aimed at strengthening the research culture and the production of knowledge from the classrooms.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this important meeting, students from the careers of Occupational Safety and Health, General Psychology, Social Work and Human Development, Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences, Law and Political Science, Banking and Finance and Environmental Management Administration were present, who presented their research projects in the auditorium of headquarters B, developed with scientific rigor and academic focus.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event highlighted the students&#039; commitment to applied research, as well as the constant support of the teaching staff in guiding relevant and impactful research processes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the event, the following winning projects were highlighted:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>First place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bachelor&#039;s Degree in Law and Political Science, with the theme <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLegal analysis of the regulation of digital twins in Panamanian mining legislation\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the tutelage of Professor Mar\u00eda Alverola.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Second place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bachelor&#039;s Degree in Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences, with the theme <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cChemical-forensic analysis of adulterants (levamisole) in cocaine seized on Panamanian coasts\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the tutelage of Professor Milisa Madrid.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Third place:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bachelor&#039;s Degree in General Psychology, with the theme <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEmotional and behavioral changes in older adults with Alzheimer&#039;s: a documentary review from clinical psychology and the Panamanian context\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, under the tutelage of Professor Yanabel Delgado.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UMECIT extends special recognition to all students, teachers and administrative staff who made this significant day possible, which reaffirms the institutional commitment to research as a
