The event demonstrated the interest of both municipal authorities and participants in joining the program.<\/p><p>During the event, Master&#039;s candidate Alexis del Cid presented the project&#039;s approach, highlighting the training process, knowledge transfer, and the integration of participants as active members of the academic community. Also participating were Master&#039;s candidate Isabela Cuevas, academic coordinator for the areas of Psychology, Social Work, and Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor&#039;s candidate V\u00edctor Tejada, coordinator of Psychology, who emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary support.<\/p><p>The attendees expressed their willingness to join the third group of the \u201cGolden Age 2026\u201d project, continuing this community impact initiative.<\/p><p>Highlights of the meeting included the participants&#039; interest in continuing their education, the strengthening of personal and social skills, the value of intergenerational exchange, and the consolidation of collaboration between the municipality and the university. Furthermore, future activities were planned to expand the program&#039;s reach in the region.<\/p><p>This meeting reaffirms UMECIT&#039;s commitment to social inclusion, lifelong learning, and the
