International participants included Gilda Natalia Alc\u00edvar Garc\u00eda, Minister of Education, Sports, and Culture of the Republic of Ecuador; Carolina Estefan\u00eda Pel\u00e1ez V\u00e9lez, Ministerial Advisor; and Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Holgu\u00edn, President of ARCA and representative of the Minister of Education of the Dominican Republic.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, strategic issues for the sustainable development and competitiveness of Latin American countries were addressed, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the education sector, the State and private enterprise to strengthen employability and lifelong learning.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within the framework of this event, the Rector of UMECIT, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Alberto Nieto Rojas, officially handed over the Presidency of AUPPA, giving way to the installation of the new Board of Directors for the period 2026\u20132027, chaired by Master Juan Pablo Cardozo, reaffirming the Association&#039;s commitment to academic excellence, inter-university cooperation and regional integration.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bb4b9c elementor-arrows-position-inside
