Participating in this event were Zulma Ayala, a psychology graduate and internationally recognized expert on the subject; V\u00edctor Tejada, coordinator of the Psychological Clinic; and Alexis Del Cid, coordinator of University Outreach at the campus.<\/p><p>As part of the spiritual guidance and emotional well-being program, a special Mass was celebrated, presided over by a psychology student who also serves as the parish priest in the La Chorrera community. This event brought together students, faculty, administrators, and the general public, strengthening the comprehensive nature of university education.<\/p><p>In addition, UMECIT was invited by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) to participate in a mental health prevention and promotion event at the Westland Mall, an activity organized in conjunction with health institutions and other universities. There, Psychology and Social Work students, along with teachers, interns, and the Outreach Coordination Office, conducted activities, distributed informational materials, and offered psychological counseling to attendees.<\/p><p>These initiatives reflect UMECIT&#039;s strong commitment to promoting mental health, inter-agency work, and positive community impact, reaffirming that speaking up can save lives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bb4b9c elementor-arrows-position-inside elementor-pagination-position-outside
