400;\">At the headquarters in La Chorrera, UMECIT held a meeting with representatives of the company <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bay Sanitation<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and his <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Western Sanitation Consortium<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, together with our Academic, Research and Extension Coordinations.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, the Consortium&#039;s project in the province of Western Panama was presented, seeking to generate synergies that strengthen the professional training of our students and the social impact of our institution.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the main topics addressed are:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2714 <\/span><b>Research<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: creation of institutional projects linked to sustainable development in the region.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2714 <\/span><b>Professional internships<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Opening spaces for students of related careers, strengthening their comprehensive training and field experience.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2714 <\/span><b>Cooperation agreements<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Management of agreements that benefit both the company and UMECIT, strengthening academic ties with the productive sector and university outreach.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These initiatives consolidate the coordination of our substantive functions\u2014teaching, research, and outreach\u2014reaffirming our commitment to educational quality, innovation, and social development.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At UMECIT, we continue working to create collaborative spaces that
