The participation of students from the La Chorrera campus in the first aid training taught by instructor H\u00e9ctor Ch\u00e1vez represents a firm step toward consolidating UMECIT's institutional commitment to training highly competent professionals in Occupational Health and Safety.<\/span><\/p>

This academic space allowed students to acquire practical knowledge on immediate emergency response and reinforced the importance of prevention, social responsibility, and technical training as fundamental pillars of their future professional practice. First aid is an essential tool in any productive environment, and mastering it strengthens the ability to respond to critical situations in workplace, community, or family settings.<\/span><\/p>

The workshop, conducted in a dynamic and participatory manner, fosters a culture of prevention and promotes safer and more conscious environments. The participation of the La Chorrera campus also reflects UMECIT's vision of equity and decentralization, guaranteeing all students access to the same academic quality.<\/span><\/p>

Beyond an academic requirement, this process demonstrated the young people's commitment to becoming agents of change, capable of safeguarding people's lives and integrity. It also contributes to strengthening transversal skills such as leadership, teamwork, and confidence, which are essential for Occupational Health and Safety performance.<\/span><\/p>

Each technique learned and simulation completed forged not only technical knowledge but also the ethical and professional values that distinguish UMECIT graduates. This training reaffirms the institutional mission of training well-rounded professionals committed to society, highlighting that each location is a fundamental part of the academic growth and positive impact our future professionals will have in the public, private, and community sectors.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
