In this edition, UMECIT enthusiastically joined this great sporting event, reaffirming its commitment to volunteerism, community service, and the values that characterize us as an institution.<\/p><p>Our university community, comprised of students, faculty, and staff, actively participated as volunteers, playing key roles in event logistics. These included assisting athletes with physical therapy, assembling kits, assisting at hydration stations, awarding medals, and creating media content.\u00a0<\/p><h2><b>Volunteering that transforms<\/b><\/h2><p>Be part of the <b>IRONMAN 70.3<\/b> Not only did this allow us to contribute to the event&#039;s success, but it also provided us with an experience of personal and professional growth. Participation in this type of initiative strengthens a sense of belonging, fosters solidarity, and highlights the importance of teamwork\u2014fundamental values in our development as citizens committed to sustainable development.<\/p><p>Furthermore, this experience aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the goals of health and well-being, quality education, and partnerships to achieve the objectives, promoting a culture of cooperation and mutual support in spaces beyond the academic sphere.<\/p><h2><b>UMECIT pride in every action<\/b><\/h2><p>We deeply appreciate each of our volunteers for their effort, dedication, and passion in every task they perform. Their commitment reflects the UMECIT spirit and the positive impact we can have on our society through concrete actions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
