In his speech, he highlighted:<\/p><p>\u00abWe are living in a time of impressive change. Teachers are now guides and mentors, not the only classroom authorities. Our mission is to train global professionals, with critical thinking, ethical values and pedagogical skills to face the challenges of today&#039;s world.\u00bb<\/p><p>With this premise, UMECIT continues to promote resilient learning adapted to the demands of the labor market in a constantly evolving world.<\/p><h3><strong>Recognitions: Neo-Cyberhumanist Teacher Award<\/strong><\/h3><p>One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Neo-Cyberhumanist Teacher Award, which rewards teachers who demonstrate pedagogical excellence and educational innovation in different areas.<\/p><p>The winners in each category were:<\/p><ul><li>\ud83c\udf1f Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Alejandro Pinto de Gracia<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Creative, Critical and Prospective Thinking: Ariadna Janeth Berguido Navas<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Global Citizenship: Eleumen P\u00e1jaro Pedraza<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Digital Subsistence: Francisco Enrique Wellington Thomas<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Techno-Digital Skills: Gabriel Antonio Caco Ramos<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Sustainability: Karen Elizabeth Botello N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/li><li>\ud83c\udf1f Conscious Ethical Commitment: Karen Aneth Peralta Caballero<\/li><\/ul><p>The highest award, the Neo-Cyberhumanist Insignia, was given to teacher ANNIS ITSEL CAMPOS, who stood out for her exceptional commitment to the UMECIT pedagogical model.<\/p><h3><strong>Faculty Presentations: Fostering Innovation in the Classroom<\/strong><\/h3><p>During the day, nine presentations were given by teachers from various faculties and UMECIT locations. These works stood out for the implementation of tools such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality in immersive learning experiences.<\/p><p>The teachers recognized for their presentations were:<\/p><ul><li>\ud83e\udd49 Third place: Miguel Vasquez<\/li><li>\ud83e\udd48 Second place: Alexis Guevara Pineda<\/li><li>\ud83e\udd47 First place: Karen Botello N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/li><\/ul><p>These presentations demonstrated how the integration of emerging technologies can encourage student participation and enrich learning.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><h3><strong>Keynote Lecture: Looking to the Future<\/strong><\/h3><p>The event featured the participation of the renowned expert in emerging technologies, Dr. Fernando Santamar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez, who presented the keynote lecture entitled:<br \/>\u201cHigher Education in the Digital Age: Artificial Intelligence and Converging Technologies for the Learning of the Future.\u201d<\/p><p>In his presentation, Dr. Santamar\u00eda explored how digitalization is personalizing learning processes and adapting them to the demands of a constantly changing work environment.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><h3><strong>UMECIT: Leader in Educational Innovation<\/strong><\/h3><p>The 6th Conference on Teaching Innovation in the Classroom reaffirms UMECIT&#039;s commitment to academic excellence and educational innovation.
