Within the framework of the training sessions "Learning Environmental Culture in Higher Education", a session dedicated to the topic "Climate Change and Blue Carbon" will be held. This event will take place on July 29 and will feature an outstanding presentation by Graciela Gonz\u00e1lez, environmental expert.<\/span><\/p>

The main objective of the training is to increase understanding and awareness of climate change and the importance of blue carbon. Blue carbon refers to carbon captured and stored in coastal and marine ecosystems such as mangroves, salt marshes and seagrass beds. These ecosystems play a crucial role in climate change mitigation due to their ability to absorb large amounts of CO2, much more efficiently than terrestrial forests.<\/span><\/p>
