The Department of Technology is of vital importance to achieve the mission of training human talent with values, a business mentality and an investigative spirit. It is the area responsible for network infrastructure, technological equipment, cybersecurity and cloud services, all with the aim of facilitating academic programs adapted to a globalized world. In addition, it provides training in technology and technical support, which contributes to the humanistic, scientific, and technological development of the university community.<\/p>

He firmly supports the vision of turning UMECIT into a dynamic university that automates academic and administrative processes, becoming an Electronic University with a quality management system. The goal is for technology to enhance the human experience and become an integral part of college life.<\/p>

Looking to the future, it is hoped that UMECIT uses technology not only as a tool, but also as an essential element in the educational experience. Technology is intended to facilitate teaching and learning, promote innovative research, improve administrative efficiency, and ultimately help the University fulfill its mission of educating tomorrow's leaders.<\/p>

The Technology Department strives to ensure that technology is a key factor in achieving UMECIT's academic and administrative goals.
