UMECIT submits documents for the reaccreditation of the Bachelor's Degree in General Psychology to CONEAUPA

UMECIT delivered the Self-Evaluation Report of the General Psychology program to Dr. María del Carmen Terrientes de Benavides, Executive Secretary of the National Council for University Evaluation and Accreditation of Panama -CONEAUPA-.

This delivery marks an important step in the process of evaluation and accreditation of the career and reflects the efforts of the institution to maintain and improve the quality of education for the country and the region.

Dr. Jose Nieto, UMECIT's rector, was present at this ceremony along with his work team, made up of outstanding professionals in different areas. Dr. María Piedad Nieto, administrative vice rector, Dr. Hermes Sierra, academic vice rector, Mag. Boris Castillo, director of Quality, Dr. Gressy Zúñiga, director of the Technical Evaluation Unit, Dr. Rosa Castañeda, Legal Advisor, Mag. Alanis Tamayo, Accreditation Assistant, Mag. Kennedy Pérez, Coordinator of the Psychology Clinic, and Mag. Linette Govea, coordinator of the Psychology degree program.

The presence of this multidisciplinary team demonstrates UMECIT's commitment to the evaluation and accreditation process of the General Psychology program. The Self-Evaluation Report is a crucial document that presents a comprehensive evaluation of the career, including its structure, academic quality, resources and results.

Once again UMECIT demonstrates continuous compliance with quality standards and constant improvement work in the academic and professional training of students.
